When I lived with my parents, there was always a jar cilantro chutney in the fridge. We added it to everything, even spaghetti! This chutney is incredible and can add flavour to a bland meal, or just spice up any savoury dish. The best part is that it only requires 4 ingredients!! Its so simple to make. Just throw everything into the blender and turn it on! Fool proof!
For those of you that know me or follow me on Facebook, you may have noticed that Brett and I decided to try a low carb diet. I’m sorry to say that I don’t think its going to last very long. I’m only on day three and craving bread so much that it haunts my dreams! This chutney is the reason I’ve made it to day 3. I know, that doesn’t sound impressive… but for me it is! I am a carb addict. So, to make up for the high I get spiking my blood sugar, I’ve been adding this chutney to every meal to make my low carb meals at least a little bit more satisfying.
This chutney is pretty spicy, so you only need to add a teaspoon or two to spice up your meal. You can use it as a dipping sauce or just mix it into whatever you are eating.
