Chop the lemons, ginger, lemongrass, oranges and apples Juice the orange and set aside.
Add to Pot
Add all ingredients (except essential oils and Vitamin D drops) to a large pot and bring to a gentle boil.
Gently Boil
Allow to gently boil for 30 mins to 1 hour then remove from heat.
Strain
Strain liquid over a fine mesh strainer. Press to remove as much liquid as possible. *See post for pulp uses
Cool Slightly
Allow the liquid elixir to cool slightly until it is just warm to the touch before adding remaining ingredients.
Add Optional Essential Oils
Make sure to add only edible essential oils. DoTerra has some lovely edible essential oils that we love! We are not associated with them we just love their oils!
Add Optional Vitamin D Drops
Add Vitamin D drops if desired. Make sure to read your specific brand for dosage recommendations. If unsure, consult your health care professional for the right dose for you!
Funnel into Small Glass gars
Simple funnel your immunity boosting elixir into individual sized servings. I like to use small 65mL glass jars (I've re-used from buying pre-made immunity shots).
Refrigerate & Consume Daily
Simply store in the refrigerator and drink one shot daily for maximum immunity boosting effect!
